Having fun with a Studio Calico Sketch
I'm sharing a card today that I made with the new Amy Tangerine "Ready, Set, Go!" line. I wasn't so sure I liked this collection at first, with all the basic colors and little quotes that I don't really use (ex. Meet Me in the Sunshine????) But I went to my LSS, The Scrapbook Princess, and I bought some papers from this collection just to play with. I ended up liking them! (Which actually shouldn't be a surprise... I like paper)
As for the Studio Calico sketch, I check the SC blog every once in a while, and one particular day I noticed a card sketch that I liked. So, I saved it to my iPad and made a card with it! You can check out the sketch here, along with a couple of more sketches that you might find inspiring.E

A Mini Album
Nw, I know that you are sitting there in shock. I don't hardly ever share mini albums. So, enjoy, ok? ;)
I was brainstorming about doing an Instagram mini album one day, and I came with up with the idea of using washi tape to bind an accordion album together. I used my Instagram pictures that I have taken of my cute daycare kids, but because they're my daycare kids, I had to blur out their cute little faces for security reasons.
I used my October Afternoon " Woodland Park" collection for this mini because I bought basically all of the collection when it first came out at TwoPeas. I had the stickers, chipboard, brads, all the works. So I thought it would be fun to use off a cute little book of "my" kids. I think my favorite part about this collection is the chevron designs! And notice, not just patterned paper in chevron design, but WASHI in chevrons too! I have one question for my blog readers though, would you like a tutorial on how to make this album? I thought it might be too simple of a tutorial for you. ;) But I can if you think you would use it! Just leave a comment for me saying yay or nay for a tutorial.
On a different note, how's your scrappy Christmas coming along? Do you plan on using your scrappy skills for some projects, whether it be decorations, gifts, or gift wrap? I bought some cute little red chevron bags yesterday at TJMaxx that I'm SUPER excited about using for some little Christmas treats! ;) Have a fabulous Tuesday!
P. S. Ahh, the simple joys in life... Blogger updated their app so it is now a full screen on my iPad instead of a tiny iPhone sized screen on my iPad. Yay!
P. P. S. Sorry about the pictures all being mixed up... My iPad won't post them correctly. :(

A card too...
I made a card with one of Pam's sketches as well. I used sketch 227c for this card (click here for the sketch) I made a special shaker for this card using some supplies from Stampin' Up!
Getting Back to Blogging
Wow. Seems like I haven't blogged in forever. Well, I just found on my camera a layout that I made before Thanksgiving with a sketch from Pamela's blog. I used sketch number 227a for this page (which you can find by clicking here)
I had some scraps from my Amy Tan Sketchbook line and I thought they fit my pictures of my sister's 14th birthday well. I started out planning on using something new, but I thought the Amy Tan line looked do much better with the pictures.
Well, that's it for now. I'm not very long-winded in my blogging! ;)

Think Now (Create U)
Here's my last layout I made with my "Uncertainty" kit from Create U. I loved the mists in his collection, along with the resist journaling spots and wonderful letter stickers! This kit is awesome! ;)

Ok. I'll Admit It. (Create U)
Here's another page I made with the Create U "Uncertainty" kit. I loved the black paired with the pastel blue and pink, so I focused more on the black in this kit with a few pops of color. Have a fabulous Wednesday! ;)

It's Paid For!
Here's another layout I made with the Create U "Achievement" kit. :) I love this layout because it documents one of my HUGE accomplishments- paying for my car myself!

1,2,3,4,5!
I am sharing a layout I made last night, so it's fresh from my scrapbook room! I made this layout to enter into the Pretty Little Studio sketch challenge. You can find the challenge here, but I'm also posting the sketch here on my blog.
I used Cosmo Cricket's 2wenty Thr3e line for this page. I love this collection and I think the reason I like it so much is the gray color mixed all in the collection. Gray is one of my favorite neutral colors, and this line just makes me happy! ;)
Thanks for visiting my blog today!!

Seen & Noted... A Cute Collection
Just have to post this today as well...
I bought some of the new Pebbles line called "Seen & Noted" a couple of weeks ago, and let me tell you-- this is one ADORABLE collection! The tangerine orange and bright turquoise match together so perfectly with the gray, yellow, and other accent colors Some of the papers seem a little dark colored, but that might be just because I bought a collection kit instead of individual sheets.
On another note, have you seen the new Jillibean Soup alphabet stickers? I used some here on this card and they are just awesome!! I ended up buying 4 sets of them... so unlike how I normally buy. They are the perfect size for cards and layouts alike. You will definitely be seeing these on my upcoming projects. ;)
I kept this card pretty low on embellishments because I knew it was going through the mail and I always have this fear about my cards getting caught up in the mail sorting machines. :S I basically fussy-cut a little cluster of flowers from one of the papers and then layered them and added some stickles.
That's it for today! Be sure to check back for some more projects for the Ceate U teen journaling team!

Choices, Choices, and more Choices
Just sharing a layout today that u made with the Uncertainty kit from Create U (click here to visit the Create U blog). This is my favorite layout I made from this kit because it's about where I am right now. I have no idea where I want to go to college, and I am not positive about what I want to do in college! I have an idea but nothing in concrete right now... And that dives me nuts!!! I will be happy when I am done with all of this college stuff! I do admit though, it is exciting! ;)

Foto Friday: Fall
This week on my day off of work, I took a little photo field trip into our field to take some pictures of the beautiful fall leaves! I ended up not getting but a few good photos because my battery was DEAD, but I enjoyed the coolness of the day. Plus my sister was with me and I always love taking little trips with her. ;) Have a fab Friday!!
