New Scrapbook Space Decor

I have a new scrapbook space! Yay! We moved my brother out to the new apartment above the shop a few weeks ago, so I got to take over part of the basement. We have a living room area downstairs and I have my scrapbook desk on one wall of the area. I think we are going to put a small couch on the other side of the room. It's already so nice having an area I can leave messy! :D Before my flight out to France, we went to IKEA in Atlanta and bought the desk. So, while I was gone, Dad put it all together for me. Knowing that I had an awesome new desk at home waiting for me made it a little easier to return from such an awesome trip. :)

As you can see in the photo above, I have a blank space on the wall above my desk. I was thinking of putting some random photos and quotes up there, but then I remembered that I have some Gallery Art Pads from me & my BIG ideas!! Those things are the BEST because it's like you have custom art prints to decorate with. There are some really cute pictures and quotes in the Gallery Art Pads. I chose some of my favorite sayings and pictures to put up on my wall (that flamingo and cactus are my FAVE!). I added some personal snapshots and instax photos as well to mix it up a bit.

And just for your information, you can buy these Gallery Art Pads at Hobby Lobby. It makes me so happy seeing awesome products like this in stores that are all around the country. They are also available in the mambi online store HERE

P.S. I uploaded a new YouTube video! Woo hoo! :) Check it out by clicking HERE

I Am Enjoying the Ride

Today I'm sharing my last and favorite project that I made with the June "I Am" kit from Scrapbooking from the Inside Out. I love diecuts and maybe that's why I'm obsessed with this page. ;)

MAGICAL.

I have so many photos and stories to share about my trip to Europe. I don't really know if I will have a certain pattern of posting things… lately I've felt very unmotivated when it comes to crafty things or blogging. Meh. Wish it was't that way, but it is what it is I suppose.

Anyway! I have, like, 1000 pictures that I took on my trip to Paris and Berlin. Yeah… that's a lot to look through. But for now, I feel like sharing this one photo. It's my favorite. :) :)

We had visited the Eiffel Tower the previous day during the daytime, but it's a whole different thing seeing the tower at night. Part of the group had went to Hard Rock Cafe to buy t-shirts. We braved the metro and made it through without a problem!! I was so proud of us-- even though I wasn't the one figuring out how to go and where to stop. LOL After everyone got their t-shirts, we were trying to figure out if there was anything that we wanted to do since we were out and about. It was after 10:00pm and so all the stores were closed, so no shopping. I suggested we go to the Eiffel Tower to see it all lit up! So we went. And

Oh. My. Goodness.

It was magical. So surreal. We were there about 10 minutes and then the light show on the tower started. All those lights flashing. It was amazing. It almost looked like the Eiffel Tower was sparkling. I loved it. There was a guy singing with his guitar and it cracks me up thinking about his cute little accent while he was singing American songs. But it added to the atmosphere. ;)

Later, we were discussing what our favorite parts of the trip were. Ms. Bowman said that hers was seeing the Eiffel Tower at night. That made me so happy because if I hadn't have said anything, we wouldn't have went that night. And it ended up being a fabulous experience.

It still makes me happy thinking about it. :)

I Am...

I'm sharing an art journaling page at Scrapbooking from the Inside Out today! I haven't made an art journaling page in quite a while, so this was super fun and different than just normal Project Life-ing or scrapbooking... even though it's not that artsy of a page. LOL

Happy Happy Birthday Card

Mom's birthday was last week and so of course I made her a card! I wanted to leave this card very bright and simple. I used lots of white with pops of bright colors.

I have also gotten into the groove of using my stamps more on my projects (yay!). I used two different stamp sets on this card. One is the Color Wash set from Pink Paislee and the other is from Dear Lizzy

I think my mom liked it... it's not really her style of card, but I did make it just for her. :)

I'm a Guest Designer at Inside Out!

I am back at Scrapbooking from the Inside Out for the month of June! :D I love Inside Out and it was fabulous to get to use one of their kits again and document some good heart talks.

The kit for June is entitled "I Am" and it is AWESOME. Just check this out:

This kit includes select items from the "I Am" collection from Simple Stories along with the "Journey" collection from Crate Paper. These two lines are absolutely gorgeous. Really. I never expected them to be so pretty. There are lots of awesome, meaningful embellishments in the kit as well. Phrase stickers, puffy stickers, ephemera, PL cards, pearls, a stencil, a distress marker, and some awesome Thickers.

Even after my projects I made for this month, I have a lot of this kit left. That makes me super happy! 'Cause it's super pretty and awesome and fabulous and all the other good words. ;)

And here are my projects I made with the kit:

I'm excited to share more about my projects for this month, so be sure to check back! Oh, and check out Scrapbooking from the Inside Out for more info about this kit!
