Having Some Fun!

Howdy! I am back with a layout and a card I have made this week on Spring Break! I have had a lot of fun this week-- between going to a museum, going shopping, and working it's been a busy week!

This layout is for the Let's Get Sketchy! challenge (which you can find here). I decided to play a lot with layering and textures on this layout. The collection I used is "Vintage Vogue" from Pink Paislee. It's so pretty! I thought a black and white photo would look good with the colors in this line. This is totally not my style, but I've been playing with different looks lately. :)  


And I have a card to show you that I made for the Frosted Designs Fabulous Friday challenge to use grids on your project (find that challenge here). I used my butterfly scraps to make this card. I stitched the grid (which doesn't look the best... don't look close) and then I closed the grid in with some baker's twine. Can you say colorful? :)

    They are both gorgeous! I love that you put butterflies in your grid. I also love the colors of your layout. :)

    Heather, your page is beautiful...I think you rocked this different style!! And I love how the b&w photo looks with the Pink Paislee line!! Gorgeous!! And your card is so cute...love how you created the grid with the butterfly scraps!!

    I love this layout. The Pink Paislee papers are so beautiful, very soft oolors. :) And the Black/White photo looks good with the soft colors.

    These are both such pretty projects! I like the B&W photo with the soft colours you used. Pretty embellishments. Your card is so cute! Lovin' all those fancy butterflies. (Grid looks great to me!) :)
