Mother's Day Blog Hop!

Hi, and welcome to my stop on the Mother's Day Blog Hop this weekend! :) Today I will show you a card that I made for my awesome mom.

If you didn't arrive from Robyn's blog, then go back to Amanda's blog and start the hop from there.

First of all, I am having so much fun with my new Canon Rebel T1i! :) It takes faaaaabulous photo and I am so proud of the pictures I have taken. I just had to include a close-up photo on this post.

Sometimes it's kinda hard for me to know where to start a card. This time, I started with some layering flowers I received from a mystery box swap that I received this week. I really didn't know what I was going to do with a little baggie of small random flowers, so I challenged myself to use them and make them pretty! All I did was make a background with them by just glueing them on a piece of cardstock. I then spritzed them with Perfect Pearls Silver mist and added a few rhinestones to dress up the card.

This is not at all how I planned for this card to turn out, but hey-- I'm kinda lovin' when my projects take of in their own direction!




*And just a disclaimer-- I resized these photos so if they look a bit blocky... it's not my camera! LOL*

    Neat idea to use all those little flowers on your card. I sure have a lot I need to use on something.
