I get to share on of my favorite layouts ever today! Yay!!
I bought a Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm mini pad and the coordinating diecuts from Paper Issues, and I just had a blast using it on this layout! One thing I absolutely love is the fact that in the mini pad, there is one paper of each pattern, not two. I like that because I have more patterns to work with! I just loooove the color combo of this line. I wasn't sure about it when I saw it online, but when I now have it in person, it's absolutely awesome. It works for everyday pages and I love that! You can do so many different combos with this collection!
I used a sketch from Artful Delight for this layout. It was a very general sketch, and so I got to play around with it a lot! Click HERE to visit the Artful Delight blog. I used the element of misting that was in the sketch and misted everywhere on my background chevron paper! After I finished my layout on the chevron paper, I noticed that all of my layering and everything was in the right bottom corner, and I did not like how it looked. So I trimmed off about an inch and a half off of two sides and then matted it on a white piece of paper with a notebook looking paper offsetting it. And of course I added some washi tape. :) I like it soooo much better now!
Thanks for visiting! I hope I can keep up my blogging because they're going to take away our wifi at school. :( Anyway, I plan on trying to keep you updated with what I'm doing!
I can see why this is your favorite layout ever..... It's amazing! I really want to get me some of the Lucky Charm line!
