I have a quick post today sharing a card I made from this week's Paper Bakery Kit sketch. I switched up how the pieces of paper were patchworked together, but I stuck to the sketch for the rest of the card. I used some scraps I had from Echo Park's A Walk in the Park line. I have sooo many scraps from my EP collections! I will someday order a kit from The Paper Bakery and then participate in their challenges with the kit... Till next time!

Sunshine & Happiness
I have a layout to share that I am very proud of! I made this layout all on my own; no sketches, scraplifting... nothin'. I have had this sketched out on a piece of paper for a while, and I decided to put it into action on a layout. Sometimes I get into sketching random pages without any thought of actually MAKING the pages.
I used Bella Blvd.'s line called "Sunshine & Happiness"... which is adorable by the way. I love the bright colors, and I have wanted to use some of the Bella Blvd. font stickers for a while now. I bought these goodies at my National Scrapbook Day retreat at the beginning of this month. I have had so much new stuff to play with that I am just now getting to this line! :P
Also, I used my cute little Mr. Huey "&" mask from Studio Calico that I received from Tina back when she sent me a buncha goodies from when she cleaned out her scraproom! Thanks once again, Tina!!
And since I was feeling extra crafty, I created a sketch based off my layout for you! It's very simple, and you can add anything you want, basically. If you end up making a layout based off of this sketch, I'd love to see it! Leave me a link in the comments section! :) Now that I look at it, it's kinda disproportional, but oh well- you get the point of it.

Hello Summer!
Boy, am I ready for summer! :) I have thoroughly enjoyed my week of freedom!
Yesterday we went swimming at a friend's pool, and I knew I just had to take some pitcures for to use with this Hello Summer! Echo Park paper I recently bought. I love the bright colors in this line. They're not too bright, and not too dark. I kinda blindly bought it because I ordered online, and I hadn't really been looking at it at all till I saw that I needed to order a couple more things to make my order qualify for free shipping. I saw it and thought it was cute, so I stuck it in my cart. And I really am loving it! (I really love all paper though, can you believe it?) I guess blind buying isn't that bad! :P
I used the awesome weekly sketch over at Pretty Little Studio. I really liked this sketch (Haha... I only use them if I like them of course), but I wasn't sure how I was going to ground the photos. I really didn't want them floating in space on the page. It just so happened that my mom opened her birthday presents last night, and she got some Paula Dean cookware. Inside some of the pans there were little cardboard rings. Perfect! I painted them and used them as stamps on this page (I also used a small cup for the smaller circles.). It gave just the effect I was wanting. Woopee! :) It's so fun to use something abnormal on your scrapbook pages!
Ok- that's it for today! Have a fabulous Memorial Day weekend! I am off work on Monday! Woo hoo! I'll probably pop in with some more projects... just depends on how much time I have.

"Beautiful Roses"
Ahh... I'm having so much fun being out of school!!! I have already scrapped a lot more, which I looove. I made a layout today from the Frosted Designs biweekly sketch challenge. You can find the sketch here. I really liked the three photos on the side with the cluster of embellishments. That's what drew me to use this sketch.
I used some Pink Paislee "Nantucket" paper that I received from Tina Walker (Thanks, Tina!). I love this paper line. The journaling spot and 2 journaling flags are free printables from Creating Keepsakes.
Card Challenge over at Frosted Designs!
It's Tuesday! :)
The sketch this week over at Frosted Designs is simply amazing. There are so many different ways you could take it. I stuck pretty close to the sketch, and here's my card I came up with:

A little about this card... I used the Stampin' Up! In-Colors for this card. I love the combination, and I am happy with how these colors turned out. I am in love with the little purple rose too- I received it from a prize from Tina Walker. Thanks, Tina! :)
Now, I encourage you to go play at Frosted Designs! There's always fun prizes to win! Have a great Tuesday!

Back to Scrapping a Bit!
I haven't been able to scrap in a while... well, since National Scrapbook Day, and I'm having withdraws! We had a yard sale this morning, so the rest of the day has been basically FREE to scrapbook! Woo hoo!
I have completed several different projects today, and one of them is this card for the Paper Bakery Kits Sketch Challenge. Here's the sketch. I loved Amanda Johnson's take on the sketch (in the next post on the blog), so I basically lifted her idea. I loved the tags "connected" with the circle. This was a fairly quick card, so that makes me like it even more. ;P I always love it when I can create a card in a reasonable amount of time and it still looke good.

It's Tuesday! That means...
It's time for a card sketch challenge over at Frosted Designs!
The sketch this go-around is so awesome! I knew when I looked at it the first time that I wanted to stitch the blocks of paper. Makes it looks so quilt-ish! I used Crate Paper's "Random" collection for this card. Everything is from that line, with the exception of rhinestones and card base of course. I am in love with Crate Paper. I just bought the "Pretty Party" collection this weekend at the scrapbook retreat! I cannot wait to use it-- Eeeek!

How was your NSD?
I had an awesome weekend at my scrapbook retreat! After I got home this afternoon, then I did another layout with this Pretty Little Studio sketch. I normally would NEVER be this "random" with my page but I thought it might be fun to be a little "messy" with my style. What do you think of it? I used some Jillibean Soup "Sweet & Sour" scraps that I have... I lovvvve this line! I bought a LOT of new stuff at the retreat this weekend... the most I have ever spent at one time on scrappy stuff. I didn't know how much I spent till the end of the retreat, and boy-- it sure grows! LOL I better go on another freeze. :)

Mother's Day Blog Hop!
Hi, and welcome to my stop on the Mother's Day Blog Hop this weekend! :) Today I will show you a card that I made for my awesome mom.
If you didn't arrive from Robyn's blog, then go back to Amanda's blog and start the hop from there.
First of all, I am having so much fun with my new Canon Rebel T1i! :) It takes faaaaabulous photo and I am so proud of the pictures I have taken. I just had to include a close-up photo on this post.

Sometimes it's kinda hard for me to know where to start a card. This time, I started with some layering flowers I received from a mystery box swap that I received this week. I really didn't know what I was going to do with a little baggie of small random flowers, so I challenged myself to use them and make them pretty! All I did was make a background with them by just glueing them on a piece of cardstock. I then spritzed them with Perfect Pearls Silver mist and added a few rhinestones to dress up the card.
This is not at all how I planned for this card to turn out, but hey-- I'm kinda lovin' when my projects take of in their own direction!
*And just a disclaimer-- I resized these photos so if they look a bit blocky... it's not my camera! LOL*
Now head on to Cassie's blog and see what Mother's Day project she has going on! :)
