Two More Cards

I should be reading my school book, but instead I'm going to blog! :) Maybe because I'm excited that this is my third blog post this week! Yippee! I feel accomplished.

I made these cards from a design that I saw on the Jillibean Soup blog. So, I thought it'd be pretty cool to lift a card that was made with Jillibean products and make some of my own with Jillibean products. I used the "Neapolitan Bean Bisque" line for this line. I have a mini pad of this collection and so that's what I used. I love using lots of different patterns on one card or layout, so that's what inspired me to make these cards-- lots of cute paper!

Have a happy Thursday! I don't know if I'll be posting tomorrow because I'm taking a day off of school to tour the college I'm *hoping* to go to! :)

Top Five Products of Today

Hey there! I thought it'd be kinda fun to post my top five favorite products that I love right now.

1. Wood Veneer Tabs- Love these. I love wood veneer in general though. I look forward to adding these to some awesome layouts soon! (P. S. Thanks to Tina for these!)

2. Mini Pads- I think my love is growing exponentially for these babies. You get so many different patterns for one price! The ones pictured are ones I have a special love for (i.e. Kringle & Co. from American Crafts, Yours Truly and Cashmere Dame from Glitz). I only have one small crate in my scraproom to store mini pads, but I might have to soon expand that area to accommodate my addiction!

3. Tiny Type- I love the smallness of these! Especially the little word strips. I have several sets and I think they will be used a lot this year.

4. Chipboard- This is another product that will increase in quantity in my stash in the future. I love the dimension that it adds to my projects and the cute designs that are on the chipboard-- ones that aren't included in the papers of a collection.

5. Lawn Fawn Stamps- Oh I could go on and on about how I ADORE the cute little stamps that Lawn Fawn makes. The little critters are soooo cute! I have more ordered. ;)

So, what are YOUR favorite five products of scrapping?

Sharing a Couple of Cards

Here are the cards I promised to share! I used the cut-apart vintage pictures that area included in the 8x8 collection pack. This card design just popped in my head while I was in the middle of making my "Oh What Fun" layout. So, I made these the next day. I wanted to make some everyday cards, so the I just did "hello" for the sentiment. I cut the green sentiment on the barn card with my Silhouette. The other letter stickers are from Studio Calico. Thanks for stopping by today! ;)

Sneak Peek of Some Cards

I made 2 cards yesterday with the same "Winter Wonderland" collection from Pretty Little Studio that I used on my layout that I posted yesterday! I saw the little 4x4 square vintage pictures and just KNEW I needed to make some cards with them! So, here's a sneak peek of the cards during the creating process. I meant to take pictures of the finished cards and put them on my iPad, but alas. It didn't get done. Might be because the power went off last night. (It's on now, FYI.)

So, here's a little peek of what I'll *hopefully* be sharing tomorrow! ;)

Why Not Post on Sunday too?

Back again! With another layout made from a sketch! I used the sketch that's up on the Cocoa Daisy blog (which you can find by clicking here). We went ice skating the day after Christmas and so I wanted to document that! My mom actually took pictures of us the whole time we were skating! A BIG thing because Mom never tries to use my camera. I put it on the Sports setting for her though and she did ok with it! So, all of these pictures are courtesy of my mom! :) I was so surprised she stuck with it the whole time!

I used Pretty Little Studio's "Winter Wonderland" collection for this page. I love the pretty white and blue color combo of this collection! I did something a little different for me and did some white-on-white accenting. I used some leftover snowflake diecuts on this layout and I have to say, I think they add some cuteness to the page! ;) If you want to check out the "Winter Wonderland" collection from PLS, click here.

Ok- that's it for today! :) Hope you have a fantastic week! This will be my first full week of school in 2013... ugg, I'm ready to graduate already! :)

My First Layout Made in 2013

Hi! I hope you're having a great weekend so far! I know I am! I'm getting a lot done this weekend.

I made a layout from the sketch over at Pretty Little Studio (check out the sketch here), like I love doing. I bought a Glitz "Yours Truly" mini pad from my local scrapbook store, The Scrapbook Princess, and I just HAD to go ahead and dig into it! It's so pretty!! I have never used Glitz paper prior to this. I have used some of their embellishments, just not their paper. And I'm happy to say that I will be buying more of their stuff! I love it!

I made this layout with some pictures that I took with my iPad a couple of months ago, so the pictures are not the best quality. I still thought it was important to document my favorite little daycare buddy. ;)

Hopefully I'll be back next week with some more projects to share!

Happy New Year! (And a project!)

Happy New Year. I haven't posted anything in a while. I keep thinking that someday I'll become this great blogger who blogs regularly and shares all kinda of cute projects... But it hasn't happened yet. ;)

Here's a little project I made for some Christmas decor. A little late,I know. But, I say better late than never! I have this cute breakfast tray that sits on my dresser, and I wanted to make a little paper inset that was Christmas-y. So I used some larger pieces of paper and glued just the seams together with my ATG so I could easily remove it after the holidays were over. Then I just collaged some papers on it and TA DA! That's it!

I hope this year is the year I become that great blogger that I have imagine in my head. What do you like seeing on my blog? Is there anything that you would like to see that I don't do now?
