Frosted Designs Fabulous Friday Challenge: Fussy Cutting

I made 2 cards with the challenge from Frosted Designs to use fussy cutting on a project! I had mulitple prints of this paper, so I used one of them to fussy cut roses out of and pop dot over the matching images on the cards. This is the first time I have taken pics of a project in from of a window, and I don't think I'll do that again! LOL

Supplies:
Patterned Paper: K&Company
Stamp: Stampin' Up
Twine: Etsy
Embossing Powder: Ranger
Pearls: Hobby Lobby
Pop Dots: Target

My Mind's Eye August Sketch Challenges

I've always wanted to participate in My Mind's Eye Sketch Challenges, but just haven't ever gotten the chance to do it! Well, the sketches were so awesome this time that I jsut HAD to! (Plus I got some new Stella & Rose paper that I am loving using...) The projects have to be 80% MME products, and I HOPE I used that much on this first layout! The stuff that isn't MME is the buttons and mist. (basically the embellishments) I don't have any My Mind's Eye embellies so I just had to use something else. (how sad- Jenni Bowlin and Tim Holtz buttons- haha!)

And here's my card made with Stella & Rose paper also! Buttons are various ones from my stash. I am really loving my new Lush felt chipboard letters! They're AMAZING! (and they stick so well, too!) MME_CardSketch_2011_08

Creative Scrappers Sketch #167

Another layout for a challenge! I haven't ever participated in the Creative Scrappers sketch challenges, so I thought I'd give it a whirl! :) I have had these pictures printed for a while, but never seemed to have inspiration to scrap them! Now I can say they're scrapped! I got out my Echo Park "Sweet Summertime" kit and got to work! Definately doing these challenges again! Lovely sketch to work with...

Supplies: Patterned Paper: Nikki Sivils, Echo Park; Flowers: K&Company; Stickers: Echo Park; Scalloped Punch: Fiskars; Mist: Tattered Angels

Frosted Designs Sketch Along Tuesdays 6-28-11

Back again with a Frosted Designs layout! :) Here's the sketch I used:

And here's my layout based on the sketch! I finally brought out my Little Yellow Bicycle "Twig" papers! :O I have had them for probably about 6 months now and just not had the nerve to use the beautiful things! They are very elegant papers, I think, and I didn't really have any elegant pictures to scrap!! I had taken this picture in Tennessee at Cades Cove and thought "Hey- that paper just might work for this picture!" So that's what I did! I used it! Yay for me! (Haha!) I have to say I really like how it turned out... I think the flowers over on the right side just "made it." What do you think?
