September Sassy Lil' Sketches Layouts and Cards

Wow- I'm definately waiting till the last minute to post these layouts and card, aren't I?

On these two layouts, I used my pictures that I entered into the Nature category at the fair and won 1st place in the 17 and under category! Woo hoo! 

This first layout was made from the Week 3 layout sketch.

I basically used all Echo Park goodies on this layout.

Next is the Week 4 layout.This one was really fun to use up all my scraps on! :)

And last but not least, my Week 4 card! Used all scraps on this as well!



Sassy Lil Sketches Card and Layout

Happy Saturday, everyone! :)
Just popping in to share what I did last night! I worked on a Sassy Lil Sketch card AND layout! (and I'm also sharing a card I made last week at the end of this post) I loved this sketch, and I used some of my pictures that I entered into the fair (and won 2nd place with, BTW) of my little sister.
I have a lot of pictures of her, and so I do a lot of layouts of her in return! I used some amazing October Afternoon 5&Dime paper plus one piece from their Modern Homemaker line. And. I. LOVE. OA!! It's so awesome and I love it so much I won't have a problem at all using it!

Sassy Lil Sketches Layout Sept. Week 1

Hello blog friends!

I have a layout to share with you today made from the September Week #1 layout sketch! This picture is from my sister's and my first day of school! My mom took the picture (one of the only two she took) and she's not the best photographer in the world, so sorry for the blurry picture! (Well, it doesn't look too bad when it's in a little picture now that I post it...) :P

I have been challenging myself lately to use up the paper that I have and match it myself (don't just use a kit that coordinates all together), so that's what I did with this layout. Not my favorite layout in the world, but I like it a little better after I added the stitching around the whole page.

Sassy Lil Card Sketch- Week 3

I did ANOTHER Sassy Lil Card! :) I had some inspiration to use my new Sizzix embossing folder and some Nikki Sivils paper on this card! It went together great (don't you love it when that happens?!)

Sassy Lil Sketches August Week 2 Card

I have been making a few cards lately! Yay! Sometimes I get in these ruts where I only make layouts, then I only make cards, then back and forth. I have been making layouts lately, but I have snuck a card in every now and then. Here's one I made with the August Week 2 Sassy Lil Sketch! I used some Basic Grey "Hopscotch" paper and stickers on this along with some AMAZING My Mind's Eye "Lush" brown felt alpha stickers.

I made another page from a Sassy Lil Sketch! I had my BoBunny Barefoot&Bliss papers all out for my mini album I was doing, so I just left it out and made a layout with the scraps!

Sassy Lil' Sketches Aug. 9th

I haven't participated in the Sassy Lil Sketches Layout challenges recently, so I printed off their recent sketches and went to work! I have another layout made with one of their sketchs that I'll share later.

Today, I'm showing you a layout that I did with some random paper that I thought coordinated together well. I usually NEVER mix and match papers, but I really like how it turned out! This page is also for the Club Creating Keepsakes Summer Camp challenge to use woodgrain or nature accents on your layout. I love woodgrain paper! :)

BoBunny Cards

I'm back AGAIN with more cards made from Sassy Lil' Card sketches! :) I challenged myself to use some scraps of BoBunny's Petal Pushers line. I have made a couple of layouts out of this collection of papers and embellishments, and so I thought I'd use the rest of it up on these 3 cards!

I used most of the leftovers up- except I found about a 4x6 piece of paper I must have missed in my scrapfile later! Oh man! Thought I had used all of it up!
