Pretty Little Studio Sketch Card- "Delighted"

Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!! I know I did! I made this card ON Thanksgiving day! :)

Do you ever play with a certain line of products, then get tired of them and put them away; and then go play with them again weeks or months later? Well, that's what I do with this American Crafts "Blue Skies" line. I won it in a Paper Crafts drawing, and so I've had these products for about 1 1/2 years! :O I still love them though and I use every little SCRAP of the papers!

In place of the journaling above and below the circles, I put the little scalloped border. I had a lotta fun making this card-- just wish my paper wouldn't wrinkle! Well, my ATG is out of adhesive so I've been using some Scotch liquid glue and that makes the paper wrinkle even more! :P

Kraft Cardstock: Recollections
All other paper and button: American Crafts
Pop Dots: Target
Embroidery Floss: DMC
Scalloped Punch: Fiskars
Circle Diecuts: Cricut Cartridge "George and Basic Shapes"

Hopefully I can share some other things I've been making lately! So check back soon!

Frosted Designs Layout!!

I have another layout to share, and it's for the Frosted Designs Sketch Along Tuesdays! I haven't participated in this challenge in a whiiiillllee, and when I saw this sketch, I wasn't quite sure how to interpret it. So, I printed it out and taped it up in my scraproom and thought about it for a while. Then it came to me how I could use this sketch! And I like the outcome! What do you think??
I got to use some of my FABULOUS new papers that I bought from a LSS over an hour away (I have only been there once since it's so far away.). It's some Crate Paper Farmhouse and Random Collections. LOVE it! Then the background paper is a piece from Pebbles... can't remember the line or I'd tell you... :)

And that AMAZING tulle flower...? It's from Webster's Pages!
I won it in a ClubCK challenge about a month ago and have just been waiting to use it!

And as always, THANK YOU for stopping by! I really appreciate it! :)

A Thank You Card

If you're looking for the Halloween Blog Hop, just scroll down a little bit. :P

I love Pretty Little Studio sketches... have I ever said that before??? I made another card with one of their sketches! And I think it's my favorite card yet! I used ONLY paper and letter stickers and two brads on this card! I actually utilized my Cricut's ability to cut flowers (usually never take the time to cut out my own flowers!).
I used some yummy My Mind's Eye papers along with some awesome Lily Bee letter stickers that I am forever in love with. :)

Sassy Lil Sketches Card and Layout

Happy Saturday, everyone! :)
Just popping in to share what I did last night! I worked on a Sassy Lil Sketch card AND layout! (and I'm also sharing a card I made last week at the end of this post)
I loved this sketch, and I used some of my pictures that I entered into the fair (and won 2nd place with, BTW) of my little sister.
I have a lot of pictures of her, and so I do a lot of layouts of her in
return! I used some amazing October Afternoon 5&Dime paper plus one piece from their Modern Homemaker line. And. I. LOVE. OA!! It's so awesome and I love it so much I won't have a problem at all using it!
September Week #2 Sassy Lil' Sketch

And then I have a card to share with you too! I mixed-and-matched all these different papers, and I think it looks like they all came in a kit! (nothing like bragging, right? LOL)

And one last card!

Moxie Fab World Cards

I know, I know- I'm so bad at spacing out my blog posts... it's just that I dumpy my memory card all at once, and then I want to post all the layouts and cards I have made for challenges! So, here's 2 cards I made from this lovely inspiration picture for the Tuesday Trigger challenge over at Moxie Fab World.

I used the colors from this picture for both cards- basically red, white, kraft, and turquoise.
I didn't take the green from the picture- I liked just the turquoise/red/white combo.

Supplies: Patterned Paper: Heidi Swapp, Jenni Bowlin; Kraft Paper: Hobby Lobby; Baker's Twine: Etsy; Letter Stickers: Glitz Design; Paper Flower: Prima; Brad: K & Company; Eyelets: American Crafts

Supplies: Kraft Paper: Hobby Lobby; Letter Stickers: Cosmo Cricket; Embroidery Floss: DMC; Other: Patterned Paper, Blue Paper, Doily

Be sure to check out the Moxie Fab World Challenges!! They have a lot of awesome ones, and hopefully you'll see me over there some more! :)

Sassy Lil Sketches Layout Sept. Week 1

Hello blog friends!

I have a layout to share with you today made from the September Week #1 layout sketch! This picture is from my sister's and my first day of school! My mom took the picture (one of the only two she took) and she's not the best photographer in the world, so sorry for the blurry picture! (Well, it doesn't look too bad when it's in a little picture now that I post it...) :P

I have been challenging myself lately to use up the paper that I have and match it myself (don't just use a kit that coordinates all together), so that's what I did with this layout. Not my favorite layout in the world, but I like it a little better after I added the stitching around the whole page.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Sketchy Thursdays 9.1.11

Here's a layout I did for this week's Sketchy Thursdays challenge! I tried to use the main colors in the photos- blue, pink, and brown. These little photo booth pictures are from waaaaay back in 2004! :O Haha. This is my lil' sis and I thought she was such a cutie in these pictures, so that's where my title came from! :) (I think she's cute NOW of course, but she's just so little in these pics!)

Supplies: Patterned Paper: American Crafts, EK Success; Thickers: American Crafts; Scalloped Punch: Fiskars; Baker's Twine: Etsy; Frames: K&Company; Mist: Smooch; Misc.: American Crafts, Sasafras, The Paper Studio

Pretty Little Studio Sketch Challenge

Lately, I have been participating in the August sketch challenges over at Pretty Little Studio's blog, and this week was no exception! Here's my take on the sketch:

Paper is from Cosmo Cricket's "Girl Friday" line and all of the title stickers are from American Crafts.

Redone Scrappy School Projects

I had some things that I wanted to "redo" for school, so I made sure I took pics to share with you here on my blog! :)

The first thing I did was cover plain composition notebooks with patterned paper. I used Cosmo Cricket's DeLovely mini stack on the left one and Echo Park's Splash mini stack for the right one.

The backs of the notebooks

Redone pencil holder for my locker

Flower Magnent Before...

Redone flower magnent (my favorite item I redid!) Cosmo Cricket paper and Prima flowers.

Birthday Lunch Layout

Just sharing a layout I made the other day...

I have had this Sassafras paper for a long time (the blue paper flower and stripe) and I just haven't had any inspiration to use it! I just put it in the back of my paper file and didn't think about it. Well, we eventually found rub-ons to match the paper (We didn't even know they mathched when we bought them!) and so that kinda gave me an incentive to use the paper!

Lately, I have been being adventurous and matching the paper on my own! So I used some American Crafts and Cosmo Cricket paper along with my Sassafras paper!

I started this page with a Sketch Generations sketch. I altered it a bit to accomidate the number of pictures I wanted to use.
Supplies: Patterned Paper: Sassafras, Cosmo Cricket, American Crafts; Stickers: Jillibean Soup; Flowers: Petaloo; Brads: The Paper Studio; Letter Thickers: American Crafts; Ink: Colorbox; Pen: American Crafts
