Fast Forward a Month

It's been a month since my last blog post. Wow. Since that last post, I have been busy. Busy as in: I have taken trips to Louisiana and Missouri and been working and *trying to create some fun stuff. Since I have my new little scrapbook space downstairs, it's much easier now to just leave a mess and come back and continue on with whatever I was doing before.

I have completed my album of Paris and Berlin photos and memories. Yes! I have that album finished! It's so fun looking back through at all the good memories I made on that trip. A twinge of sadness and a whole lot of happiness.

It is weird to be back working every day of the week. I work at a daycare/preschool and I LOVE my kiddos. Of course it's overwhelming at times, but I've had some fun times with my little 4-year-olds this summer. If everything works out, I will be switching jobs in a few weeks to another daycare. It's a private childcare and I think it will be a lot nicer to work at. We shall see. :) I'm excited. Something different! Yeah! I'm ready for it!

College classes start back two weeks from tomorrow. Yeesh. I'm excited and not excited. I have a public speaking class this semester, which I'm not looking forward to. But I keep thinking if I survived public speaking once in high school, I can make it again. Our speech teacher was super strict, but I can say that taking that class did help me with, well, public speaking. Hopefully this next class will help me even more.

Creative wise, here's a sneak of something that I will be sharing soon. This photo just makes me happy.

And I have no idea what kind of blog post this is… brain vomit, I suppose. Haha.

Anyways, I'm looking forward to fall time (cool weather and layers and boots and scarves and sweaters and… ahh… I love fall). Labor Day we are going to a youth camp thing and then a few weeks later, I am going on a girls' trip to the beach! Woo hoo! Hopefully it will still be warm enough to dip your toes in the water but also late enough in the year that not many people will be there. That's what I'm hoping for anyway.

Before you now it, Christmas will be here. I'm excited. I love the last half of the year. Looking forward to fun times. :)
