A Thank You Card

If you're looking for the Halloween Blog Hop, just scroll down a little bit. :P

I love Pretty Little Studio sketches... have I ever said that before??? I made another card with one of their sketches! And I think it's my favorite card yet! I used ONLY paper and letter stickers and two brads on this card! I actually utilized my Cricut's ability to cut flowers (usually never take the time to cut out my own flowers!).
I used some yummy My Mind's Eye papers along with some awesome Lily Bee letter stickers that I am forever in love with. :)

Halloween Blog Hop!

Hi! Welcome to my stop on the Trick or Treat Blog Hop! I am very eager to share with you some cards that I have made just for this special occasion!

First, if you haven't come from
Kathy's Blog then go there and start the short little hop from there. :)

Ok. Now to my favorite part- the sharing part!! I absolutely love to make cards, and I happened to have some My Mind's Eye "Blackbird" (MME's Halloween line from last year)paper, diecuts, and brads. I knew they'd be perfect for cards. Plus I had recently won some Halloween pun stamps from
Joy's Life that I just *had* to use! The funny thing is, we really don't do that much for Halloween, although last year all of us kids went trick or treating! :P It was funny... all 4 of us running (yes, RUNNING!) from one house to the next. We got candy though, and that's all that mattered to us! :)

I got a little carried away and made 7 cards total, but it was SO much fun! I challenged myself to use just the MME supplies plus some twine and Stickles, and I found out that product challenges aren't really that bad!
(Click on this picture to see the cards better.)

Close-ups of cards:

So... which one is your favorite? Leave me a comment and tell me which one you like best and I'll pick one lucky winner to receive a scccaaaarrryyy prize of Karen Foster stamps and some Basic Grey bling (ok, it's not that scary)! All comments need to be received by midnight October 31st. Be sure to check back and see if you won! :)

Oh-- and of course I'd LOVE for you to follow my blog! I try to post pretty-sorta-regularly so I'd love for you to pop in and see what I'm up to!

Now go trick or treating to Andrea's blog and hopefully you won't get *too* spooked! :)

Pretty Little Studio Card with PLS Supplies!

I'm finally back with a Pretty Little Studio card! I actually used all PLS goodies on this card, and I am in love with Pretty Little Studio now!! I just got a package of some stuff I had ordered and so I got to use some of it on here! The only things I added were the baker's twine and the letter stickers.

Just to explain a little on how I interpreted this sketch into a card, I used the little girl cut out in place of the pictures and instead of the scalloped circle with journaling underneath, I put a cute little lemon-slice banner!
I used the line called "Antique Store" from Pretty Little Studio.

Thanks for stopping by! Someday I'll be a regular blogger.... LOL...

Leafing Memories Behind Blog Hop!

Woo hoo! It's time for another fantastic blog hop! :)
First of all, if you didn't come from Steffanie's Blog, then go back to Amanda's Blog and begin the hopping there. If you get lost along the way, just hop on back to Amanda's Blog! :)

Now, let's get started with the fun stuff!

Here's my layout I made for the hop this time. We were challenged to use pictures with LEAVES in them, and I immediately thought of these pictures! They are from 1997 (I was 3 back then!) and my mom had apparently gotten some camera film that was black and white! I loved the softness of these pictures. My mom was nice enough to let me scrapbook the ORIGINAL pictures! Thanks, Mom!

Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Cosmo Cricket "Nutmeg" line
Solid Cream Cardstock: Michael's
Brown Cardstock (title): Bazzill
Stickers: Cosmo Cricket, Jolee's
Buttons: Basic Grey, American Crafts
Twine: The Twinery
Cricut Cartridge (title): Printing Press
Glossy Accents (for title)
Pen: Zig
Other: Eyelets, corner rounder, thread

And now for the even FUNNER (is that a word??) part! I'm doing a giveaway of 17 scrappy items since this past Tuesday was my 17th birthday! :) All you have to do is leave me a comment on this post. If you like my blog, you are always welcome to follow me, but following isn't required to be eligible to win the prize.

Now that you've left me a comment (wink, wink), hope on over to Mandi's Blog and see what she has to show you!

A couple of sketchy layouts!

Hi there! I have 2 layouts to share with you today that I have made from sketches this week!
10.6 sketch challenge

First of all, my Sketchy Thursdays layout! I finally broke into my gorgeous Pretty Little Studio paper! Woo hoo! Love it, love it, love it.  These pictures are from my little sister's birthday shopping trip a couple of weeks ago!

And also my layout from this Frosted Designs sketch! I have always wanted to use the fold-the-edge-of-your-paper technique, and I finally did on this layout! I used mostly Echo Park products on this layout.

BTW, it's my 17th birthday today! Woo hoo! I have had a wonderful day today. :)

Challenges, Challenges, Challenges

I'm posting for 3 different challenges today!! :)

First, this card is made from the Pretty Little Studio Sketch this week and also to use this picture from the Moxie Fab World as inspiration.

For my interpretation of the picture, I had this piece of Sassafras paper in mind to use on a card. I thought the yellows and oranges coordinated with the picture. Also, I used the whipped cream in the picture as inspiration for the ruffle on my card. The ruffle is some trim I bought at a local fabric store. :)

Here's the link for the Moxie Fab World Challenge: http://www.moxiefabworld.com/2011/10/tuesday-trigger-treat-yourself.html

Next, I have a card made from this inspiration photo from A Dog's Life!
I made kind of a collage on my card and basically used black and white, like the photo. The ink I used for all the stamped images is Sahara Sands from Stampin' Up. Stamps are from K & Company and Stampin' Up.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! :) Have a wonderful Monday!

I had mulitple prints of this paper, so I used one of them to fussy cut roses out of and pop dot over the matching images on the cards. This is the first time I have taken pics of a project in from of a window, and I don't think I'll do that again! LOL

Supplies:
Patterned Paper: K&Company
Stamp: Stampin' Up
Twine: Etsy
Embossing Powder: Ranger
Pearls: Hobby Lobby
Pop Dots: Target

On these two layouts, I used my pictures that I entered into the Nature category at the fair and won 1st place in the 17 and under category! Woo hoo!
This first layout was made from the Week 3 layout sketch.

I basically used all Echo Park goodies on this layout.

And last but not least, my Week 4 card! Used all scraps on this as well!
