Fall Shaker Card

Fall is on its way! I decided to make a fall card for one of my mambi DT projects this month, and it turned out so cute in my opinion. ;)

I love my Fuse tool. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I used it to make a clear pocket card. Floating leaves and sequins? Uh, YEAH!

I think it looks so pretty with the note written inside. :)

I made a birthday card for my friend, Mecia, who turned 21 this past weekend. She is actually coming out here and we are heading to the beach on Thursday-- I'm SO excited!!! 

For this card I used various patterns from 4x6 paper pads from Studio Calico. I just love patterned paper. And that YAY! sticker is from me & my BIG ideas that I just recently found in my stash. 

mambi Design Team 2015-2016 !!!

I am happy to announce that I am continuing on with me & my BIG ideas for another year! Yay!! I love this company so much, and I am SO happy to be able to tell people that I'm a part of their awesome company. Seriously. I have never working for a scrapbook company more… :)

Here's the new team for 2015-2016. A few of us stayed on from last year, and we have a LOT of newcomers!

Oregon PL Spread

Here is the spread I made for my Project Life album, documenting my trip to Oregon. This is definitely just a synopsis of the trip. So much happened, but I used just a handful of my favorite photos or photos that will hopefully spark my memory years from now. I don't include every single story in my PL. Sometimes I want to, but I am terrible with words, and I'm always disappointed at how my feeble words don't capture the moment. :( Anyways. For now, I just did an overview of the trip. So here ya go--

I mixed a lot of random products from my stash. I got the color scheme for this spread from the little ticket journaling spot with the flowers. It's from the SC Lisse Street scrapbook kit. I really love how this spread turned out!!

Project Life Spread {me & my BIG ideas}

I love me & my BIG ideas. It is honestly the BEST company I have worked with in the scrapbook industry. The owners and designers are so amazing, and I LOVE their products. 

I made this Project Life spread with various POCKET PAGES™ cards and different embellishments- some chipboard, some paper, and some clear. I had a lot of photos for this spread, so I tried to keep the focus on those and added minimal embellishing. I love using my Fuse for making cool pockets, and this time it was used to seal closed a sequin shaker pocket. I layered some sequins OVER a POCKET PAGES™ card to add some interest to the page. How cute is that?!
