Valentine's Day Blog Hop!!

Welcome to my stop on the Valentine's Day Blog Hop!!

If you didn't arrive to my blog from Steffanie's blog, then go back to Amanda's blog and start there. :)

First of all, I gotta tell you that cardmaking is my passion. I love it! Of course, I love scrapbooking too, but there are just some times I just wanna make a card-- not a layout!

I think this blog hop is super fun because Amanda sent us a packet of goodies to make our cards with! I was amazed at how much you can do with just a little mini kit of stuff- I even had leftovers when I got finished with my card! :)

I added a script stamp to the raw chipboard pieces to dress them up a bit, and I covered the chipboard heart with paper. The only items I added to my kit were: white embroidery floss, red cardstock (for covering the heart), "Be Mine" rub-on, stamps/ ink, and kraft cardstock (for cardbase). When I list it out, it sure looks like a lot, but really it's not. :P

And in case you didn't know, here's the supplies break-down:
Paper: My Minds Eye, Pink Paislee (the die cut piece), The Twinery, Paper Trey Ink (dies for buttons), Kaiser Craft (bling)

And I have a giveaway for you! Leave me a comment. Then leave me ANOTHER comment telling me if you are a follower. If you're not a follower yet, I'd love to have you join my blog! Leave me a comment telling me you're a new follower. (total of 2 possible comments per person) I'll draw a winner on Sunday (Feb. 5th) and post it here! The winner will receive these Valentine stamps:

Now head on to Melissa's blog- I'm sure she has some creative awesomeness in store for you! :)

Heather, you are an AWESOME card maker (and Scrapbooker too!!) and you definitely didn't disappoint on this one! I love that you left the chipboard buttons natural, but added the little bit of text stamp!! Great job!!...and I've been a follower for a while! :)
