I have another layout today that I made with another sketch! This time, it's one from Pamela's blog. (Click HERE to see the awesome sketch) I loved how the sketch included three pictures and how they were centered on the page. The only change I made to the layout was to move the title up. I again used some scraps. Trying to eliminate, like I said yesterday. The scraps were from October Afternoon's "Woodland Park" line. I had bought basically everything from that line when it first came out and needless to say, I have a lot of it left. I used some of my new wood veneer butterflies I bought at Michael's this past weekend on this layout. I'm loving me some wood veneer lately!
Also, this layout is for the Frosted Designs challenge to use chevrons! (Click HERE to see the challenge) I love chevrons! And not just in scrapbooking, either. I have shirts and an iPad cover with chevrons on it. My family knows I'm obsessed with chevrons.
This layout is about my dad and I. I love my daddy. :) I'm a daddy's girl. But I'm a momma's girl as well. My guy family members rarely show up in my scrapbooks, so I thought I'd use these pics from Christmas time to at least add a bit of my daddy in my scrapping. I'm so blessed to have an AWESOME dad. He is the best man in the world! He is a hard worker, a faithful husband to my mom, and he's a family man. I love that about him! He likes spending time with us. And he's so much fun! Just take a vacation with us sometime if you don't believe me. ;) I'm also trying to make more pages with me in them so this layout accomplishes two of my short-term goals.
