Woo hoo! It's time for another fantastic blog hop! :)
First of all, if you didn't come from Steffanie's Blog, then go back to Amanda's Blog and begin the hopping there. If you get lost along the way, just hop on back to Amanda's Blog! :)
Now, let's get started with the fun stuff!
Here's my layout I made for the hop this time. We were challenged to use pictures with LEAVES in them, and I immediately thought of these pictures! They are from 1997 (I was 3 back then!) and my mom had apparently gotten some camera film that was black and white! I loved the softness of these pictures. My mom was nice enough to let me scrapbook the ORIGINAL pictures! Thanks, Mom!
Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Cosmo Cricket "Nutmeg" line
Solid Cream Cardstock: Michael's
Brown Cardstock (title): Bazzill
Stickers: Cosmo Cricket, Jolee's
Buttons: Basic Grey, American Crafts
Twine: The Twinery
Cricut Cartridge (title): Printing Press
Glossy Accents (for title)
Pen: Zig
Other: Eyelets, corner rounder, thread
And now for the even FUNNER (is that a word??) part! I'm doing a giveaway of 17 scrappy items since this past Tuesday was my 17th birthday! :) All you have to do is leave me a comment on this post. If you like my blog, you are always welcome to follow me, but following isn't required to be eligible to win the prize.
Now that you've left me a comment (wink, wink), hope on over to Mandi's Blog and see what she has to show you!

Loving your page Heather!! What a great story behind the photos too...and what a little cutie you were! :) I love the way you tied the twine across your page!

Heather, it's beautiful! I love those photos. You did a fabulous job scrapping them. I love all your texture stuff; the stitching, twine and funky font title (hmmm, think I've seen that somewhere else today, lol)
And Happy 17!
Wow, what a cute "vintage" page! You were a cutie at 3 .. and still are! :) I love all your use of twine and your stitching!

Another amazing LO! I love the twine and those photos are so sweet. I love how you really made them the star of the design. Your work is always so well thought out.
Thanks for sharing! :)
Really pretty! Love your letters
Seriously cute. I love the wood grain paper or is it really the wood veneer "paper"? I love how you preserved these "old" pictures! Great job - as always. Thank you for sharing your wonderful talent with us!

Loved seeing these old pictures of you and your brothers. Cute little Laura Beth wasn't in the picture yet, was she? (insert smiley face) You are one talented scrapper, Heather, and I always enjoy seeing your work.
Awesome layout, Heather!! I love how the photos look so vintage-y, although 1997 is not exactly vintage, lol..very nice job!!
I love the simplicity of the picture arrangement. The title really draws it all together.
That wound baker's twine is a FABULOUS idea!
Your Mom has a wonderful eye for photography! The LO is beautiful and you are one talented photochic!
Happy Birthday Heather! Beautiful LO. i like tone soft feel of it. Did you machine or hand stitch?
Love your LO
Heather, you did a fantastic job on your LO and of making me feel old all at the same time ;-) Way back in 1997? I was a senior in high school then and it doesn't seem all that long ago! I love that Cosmo Cricket paper you used and your fun title!
Heather, this layout shows why you're my teen favorite! I love the softness of the photos and layout. You did a great job!
You have done amazing. I love this layout and the black and white photos just make it pop. I love using b/w photos in my layouts. You can use a plethora of color and not drowned out your photos. Thanks for sharing...and Happy Birthday.
I love your LO, Heather! How nice that your mom gave you the original pics to scrap, it's a great way to preserve that memory! I like your design too and the title. Great job!
