Hey Buddy

Popping back in with another BOY page! :) The other week I posted a layout about Blaine. Well, now I have a page about his brother, Landon.

This is Landon.

Landon is three years old. My favorite age ever! Kids that age say the funniest things. Like one day at church, Laura was holding him and letting him play with the bulletin board at the back of our chapel. He kept looking and looking at Laura's braces. I said, "Yeah, one day you'll have those." And Landon smiled and said, "No, those are only for girls!" I guess he had seen pictures of his mom with braces too, so he just deducted that only girls have braces! We tried to explain to him that boys had braces too. I don't think he was convinced. ;P

I made my layout with this sketch from Chic Tags. I thought the big triangle was uber-cool, and I thought it'd be fun to scrapbook these photos of Landon and Mater.

I got out my stash of Chic Tags to use for this page and found that I liked the color scheme on the "here & now" tag. I just took that tag to my paper stash and matched papers from all sorts of different manufacturers. I used My Mind's Eye, Simple Stories, Allison Kreft, and even the new Dear Lizzy "Polka Dot Party" on this page! That awesome misted background is a print from the Dear Lizzy line. How cool is it??

Arg... I had typed my blog post out on my notepad app and when I copied and pasted it, I accidentally clicked "copy" here on the blank post instead of clicking "paste." So there goes the three paragraphs I was going to say about my layout. I HATE it when I do that!!!! And I'm too frustrated now to type any more. So I guess you'll have to just look at my layout this time. ;P

Thanks for stopping by!
