I'm finding out more and more that I just LOVE doing Project Life. Sometimes I feel so overwhelmed knowing I have so many layouts I could do… so many photos to scrap… but Project Life is so perfect to get my "scrapping bug" out. Project Life is all about scrapping the little things in life, and I like that. Of course I also try to add the bigger things in with my PL spreads, but I feel like I include the bigger moments in my actually scrapbooking, so I get to focus more on the everyday things that make me smile in my Project Life album.
Week 32- I used my Citrus Twist Life Pages kit for this spread. I didn't have a lot of photos for this week, so I got to use a lot of those cute little filler cards on this spread. This week was Vacation Bible School, so that was my focus on this spread. Oh- and see that "A Wallace State of Mind" card on the bottom right? Well, I was thinking that I would attend Wallace State Community College so I cut out part of the catalog to add to my PL. The cool part was that the orange-y color of the letters matched my spread for this week perfectly!
Week 33- Yay! Our vacation! This was hard to pick which pictures to use on this week because I had so many from the whole week. We went to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and stayed in an awesome 3-story cabin! Although it looks a little shabby on the outside, it was beautiful. All the other cabins around it were so pretty and perfect looking on the outside, but ours looked almost burnt! It was gorgeous on the inside though!! It made up for the outside looking bad.
The top left photo… my brother, Nathan, bungee jumped while we were on vacation! He's the dare devil of the family. And then he talked Laura into riding the "Skyscraper." He tried making me, but I was NOT going to make myself sick. I hate rides that go around and around. Anyway, the "skyscraper" was this big arm with two seat on the end that turned while it was going. Laura said it was like an extreme ferris wheel. She screamed the whole time. But, she's the screamer of the family. LOL
I used "The Pier" collection from Crate Paper once again. I am trying to use it up while it's still summertime. I used lots of wood veneer on this spread… an awesome Freckled Fawn frame and some cute stars from Studio Calico. For a while I didn't have that many different wood veneer pieces, but now I can say that now I have quite a variety of wood veneer! I used a cute Silhouette die cut on this page too-- the "we were here" was a freebie from the silhouette store. I like using my Cameo every now and then!
Week 34- This week was a week where I didn't have a lot of photos again. I did have some photos of my scrapbook desk, so even though that wasn't ALL I did the whole week, I used those photos because I didn't have any others. This week was basically about me deciding NOT to attend college. I have decided to skip college for now. There's lots of reasons why, but I like just putting it as I don't think college is God's plan for my life right now. Yes, I hate the uncertainty of my future, but I just didn't feel college was right for me. And yes, I'm a valedictorian not going to college. I'm sure I'm not the only one. I put my college ID (that I had already gotten!) in this week's spread. I like that I'll be able to look back and say, "Oh yeah-- that's when I 'retired' my ID." Haha.
I applied for some jobs during this week, so that's what the Pier One Imports card is from. Trying to do something with my life besides scrapbook it away. LOL I used the "Here & Now" collection for this spread. I love the bright colors and chalkboard prints in this line. I even added a piece from my We R "Chalkboard" mini pad for the WEEK 34 card and I think it fit right in! I love it when I can sneak in pieces from other collections and they look just like the line I'm using! :)
So…
There's my Project Life up to date. I just love doing it! I'm sure it'll be so fun to look at years down the road and see how I documented my life right now.
Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Surprised to learn that you're skipping college for right now, but I know you're following the leadings of God. If it's right for you later, you can always go at that time.
Forgot to say how much I enjoy seeing your PL weekly LOs. You're really doing a neat job.
