Writing My Story

Today's my 20th birthday. Whaaat??

Yep. I'm getting old.

I'm SO looking forward to 20 though. We have this chalkboard in our kitchen that my mom will write inspiring quotes, verses, etc. on and one of the things that she wrote for my birthday was "the best is yet to be." Yes, I totally believe it. What's going to happen this coming year? Bring it on!! :)

I thought this layout was appropriate to share today. I made it the other week. It all started with a sheet of new Maggie Holmes Open Book chipboard. I loved the phrase "my story." What is my story?

Then I also had seen this on Facebook (don't ask. I don't really do Facebook.).

So naturally I thought about including it on a layout!

Golden bow? Yes, please!

I journaled straight onto my layout. Eeee... what was scary. You can't mess up at all! Of course, I fumbled with my words as I wrote, so I kinda wish I had written my journaling out beforehand. Oops.

The gist of my journaling was that, at this moment in my life, I need to focus on things that will affect my future positively, no matter what my future holds.

So there. There's my wisdom-found-on-Facebook. :)

First of all, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! to add to your board, you're as old as you feel! I'm 30, but I feel like I'm still in my 20's. Also I just wanted to say that LO is absolutely beautiful! Good job!
