Yay! Today I'm visiting another college and I'm super excited about it!! ;) I might be living at this college *if* I decide it would be better than the school I'm currently planning on attending and so that is sooooo exciting!
I made this layout at school yesterday (I bring scrappy supplies every once in a while when I don't have anything else to do at school). I planned this layout out and then executed my idea at school. I loooooved the sketch that Diana made for Sara's birthday blog hop. It has one huge photo as the focal point of the page. I never use a huge photo on my layouts, but I guess this year is a year to try new things, right? I only have a 5x7 printer, so I cropped my photo to a 5x14 and then just printed one side of the photo and then the other. And of course I 'stitched' them together on my page and trimmed the excess of. Pretty easy! I love this photo of our field from when it snowed last month. I accented it with some Pretty Little Studio "Winter Wonderland" papers and a few other embellies, and called it done! :)

such an awesome page! I want to use that sketch too! I love the pop of red on your page!
Gorgeous use of Diana's sketch Heather!! Love the dominant white to go along with the snow in your beautiful photo! And what a great technique, to get your pic to print out the full 12 inches! Definitely a new favorite!
Heather, I love the large photo! I want to try this! I love every single little thing about this layout!
